The TL-BR001 syringe unit is Shimano’s new and improved bleed syringe with a handy new metal insert on the hose that provides a guided fitment between the hose and the bleed nipple.
The previous hose design required you to squish the hose over the bleed nipple and the fit was never all that secure which could lead to fluid leakage.
The fit is now simple, secure and precise and the new hose also features a clamp to prevent accidental fluid leakage when not in use.
